This course provides hands-on training in life-saving emergency response, combining CPR/AED use, bleeding control, basic first aid and injury management principles.

Participants will learn to recognize cardiac arrest, perform effective CPR, operate an AED, control severe bleeding, and manage life-threatening injuries in high-stress environments.

Training is practical and skill-based, emphasizing speed, clarity, and the ability to act decisively when seconds matter and stress is high. This class is the entry and prerequisite for all other Frontier Discipline MED classes.

What You Will Learn

  • CPR fundamentals and effective chest compressions

  • AED operation and emergency response protocols

  • Bleeding control (tourniquets, improvised tourniquets, wound packing, pressure application)

  • Basic First Aid

  • Triangular Bandage dressings and applications

  • Limb Splinting

  • Litter management and improvised litters
